Fiberon™ PPS‑CF10 Filament

Fiberon™ PPS‑CF10 is a high‑performance engineering 3D printing filament made from polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) reinforced with 10 % carbon fiber. This advanced material delivers exceptional mechanical strength, thermal stability, chemical resistance and dimensional stability, making it ideal for demanding industrial and functional applications. PPS‑CF10 is moisture insensitive and can be printed on open‑bed machines without a heated chamber.

• V0 flame retardant: UL94 V0 rating at 1.5 mm thickness for increased safety.

Printing recommendations

• Nozzle: Use an abrasion‑resistant hardened nozzle due to carbon fibers.
• Hotend: All‑metal hotend required capable of high temperatures up to 350 °C.
• Cooling: Little or no part cooling for optimal layer adhesion and strength.
• Storage: Keep filament dry; if moisture is absorbed, dry before use.
• Speed: Up to approximately 300 mm/s depending on printer setup and part geometry.

Fiberon™ PPS‑CF10 is ideal for functional end‑use parts, automotive and aerospace components, electrical housings, tooling, fixtures and other engineering applications requiring strength, heat resistance and chemical durability. The combination of mechanical performance, chemical resistance and low warping makes this filament suitable for advanced industrial printing.

Note: Due to the abrasive nature of carbon fibers, using a hardened nozzle is strongly recommended to minimize wear on the printhead.
